Samsung’s next trio of flagship products will (likely) arrive in the next few months, but a new report says they’re already a huge success.
According to a report in The Elec (Korea), Samsung appears to be aiming to produce a significant amount of Galaxy S25 devices to meet estimated demand (via Phone Arena). According to the company’s supply order, the goal is to produce approximately 22 million Galaxy S25 series devices by June 2025. According to the publication, Samsung expects about 11 million of the devices produced to be Galaxy S25 Ultra models.
According to the report, Samsung plans to begin “mass production” of parts for the Galaxy S25 series in October. Additionally, actual assembly of the device could begin in December. Samsung will have 2 million S25 devices ready by December, with 5 million expected to hit the assembly line in January.
The publication said Samsung expects its base model to account for about 30% of sales in North America and Europe. Samsung reportedly expects its S25 Plus to be a hit (again), accounting for around 35% to 40% of sales to North America.
Samsung is said to be aiming for 30% of the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s sales in North America, but it is likely to remain close to 20% in Europe.
Overall, the “volume” and sales numbers of the S25 series are estimated to be similar to the Galaxy S24 series. The publication notes that Samsung may seek to produce 30 million S25 devices by the end of 2025.
What’s really interesting about Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Plus estimates is how well the S24 version fared. This gave Samsung an 8% revenue increase compared to the S23 Plus. The S24 Plus came with cool upgrades that users loved, including more RAM, a sharper QHD+ display, and powerful on-device AI.
There were also rumors that Samsung might discontinue the Plus model, but those were quickly denied due to its success, presumably in 2024.
If Samsung’s past actions are any indication, the next flagship trio is expected to debut sometime in January. Some leaked renders suggest that the series is moving into the era of thinner phones with flat sides and rounded corners.
