It’s been more than two months since the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra launched, and both came with One UI 6 Watch software preinstalled. However, older Galaxy Watches have not yet received the stable One UI 6 Watch update. Now, Samsung has released another beta version of the One UI 6 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 6.
Galaxy Watch 6 series gets One UI 6 Watch Beta 8 update in South Korea and US
Samsung has released the eighth beta of the One UI 6 Watch update for Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The update is currently available in South Korea and the United States, but may soon be released in other countries where beta programs have begun. Update ends firmware version ZXJ3 Download size is approximately 156MB.
According to the official changelog provided with the update, Samsung has further improved the stability and performance of the system. The company has also reduced power consumption, which directly improves battery life. This update also improves network experience and other issues reported in previous beta versions of the software.
The update also brings the October 2024 security patch to both smartwatches.

We hope this is the last beta version of One UI 6 Watch. If so, a stable version of the software should be released for compatible Galaxy Watches by the end of this month.
