Samsung has rolled out the October 2024 security update for the Galaxy S24 series in India and South Korea. The company plans to expand this update to the remaining countries soon. It fixes several security-related issues and improves the overall experience.
Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra users can identify the update through One UI build versions S92xBXXS4AXI8 (Standard, Plus)/S928BXXS3AXI7 (Ultra) in India and S928NKSS3AXJ1 in South Korea.

Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra users will get the October 2024 security update in Canada. This update improves system security and stability, and improves overall performance.

The latest security patch includes important updates from both Google and Samsung. Specifically, Google’s patch resolves two critical vulnerabilities and 28 high-level issues, one of which was previously addressed and two of which do not apply to Galaxy devices.
Meanwhile, 12 Samsung vulnerabilities related to system services and Knox have been fixed to ensure a more secure user experience. Additionally, Samsung Semiconductor has also added fixes that improve performance.
