Launched earlier this year, the Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 is available with a choice of 13.8-inch or 15-inch displays and comes with up to 64GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. However, for now, it is only available with Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus or Snapdragon X Elite processors. The Surface Pro 11 is a 13-inch tablet with a choice of LCD or OLED display options, but it’s also only available with Qualcomm processors.
You may soon be able to buy a model with Intel Lunar Lakes chips…but it remains to be seen whether the new model will be sold as a variation of the Surface Laptop 7 and Surface Pro 11, or if it will be an entirely new product. Unknown.
Microsoft hasn’t officially announced plans for new Surface devices, but details are starting to emerge in online benchmark results and on Chinese retail sites. People on the Chiphell forums and tech news websites like WinFuture and Windows Central have compiled some of the details.
We’ll take everything with a grain of salt for now, but it looks like Microsoft may be planning to release a model with at least three different process options.
