The Electric Reliability Council of Texas, Inc. (ERCOT) has released a new and enhanced version of its mobile app.

ERCOT announced the update in a news release Wednesday. They say the purpose of this redesign is to give users easier access to accurate and up-to-date information about the health and operation of the power grid within the ERCOT system.

ERCOT officials said extensive market research and public feedback contributed to the updated app’s functionality. Enhanced features include improved navigation, a week-ahead calendar of ERCOT meetings, home screen customization, dark mode, and an interactive ERCOT dashboard.

“We are committed to providing reliable information about real-time grid conditions and operations that is easily accessible to all stakeholders, including the public,” said ERCOT Vice President of Public Affairs Gilbert Hughes. I’m working hard,” he said. “This redesign highlights that commitment. We’ve improved the app experience by integrating feedback from various stakeholder groups.”

To use the updated version of the app, users must update their device to the latest version. Updates can be found in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
