Samsung Galaxy A35 is probably the best option here. First of all, this is a Samsung phone. This means it has the great design the manufacturer is known for, with Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front and back. It also has an IP67 rating, which is a bit unusual in this price range.

Another thing that makes this phone stand out is its gorgeous 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and smooth 120HZ refresh rate. The Exynos 1380 and 6GB of RAM aren’t all that impressive, but unless you use it seriously for high-end gaming, the device performs surprisingly well. For everyday tasks, we didn’t encounter any issues during our review of the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G.

I found the battery life to be very long, averaging around 1.5 days on a single charge. The camera system is actually pretty solid, and the promise of updates comes in at 4 years of updates and 5 years of security patches.

Maybe you need a slightly different experience. Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 offers just that. A stylus is also included! In fact, aside from Samsung Galaxy S Ultra devices, it’s the only mainstream smartphone lineup with this feature. This makes the phone special from the start.

Of course, this is a budget phone, so you have to make some compromises, but it’s still a pretty great phone. In our review of the Moto G Stylus 5G 2024, we said that the design and back texture are very good. Although not the best performance, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and 8GB of RAM are very good. The battery life was also very impressive, giving me about two full days of use on a single charge.

You also get a very nice 6.7-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

Now, if you really want to spend as little as possible, the Moto G Play 2024 might be a better option as long as you can keep your expectations in check. Although we didn’t give the Moto G Play 2024 a positive review, it’s a good phone to buy for a very casual user or perhaps a child as their first smartphone.

It has some nice elements. Primarily, the camera system has been slightly upgraded compared to its predecessor. It also has a sturdy plastic construction and the battery life is very good. I was able to use it for about 2 days on a full charge! Otherwise, don’t expect too much from this device.
