Xiaomi launches new tablet with solid specs and iPad-like design

Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro are There are two other products that have been stars of the phone maker’s recent launch event but haven’t really been in the spotlight: the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro.

The two tablets that Xiaomi announced today combine a stylish design with good specs and an affordable price, which is basically the secret to their success. That being said, let’s address the elephant in the room. Both the Xiaomi 7 Pad and 7 Pro are very similar to Apple’s iPad, which is by no means a bad thing, on the contrary.

Like many other tablets these days, Xiaomi’s slate supports a wide range of accessories such as magnetic covers, keyboards, and pens. Obviously, these accessories are not bundled with the tablet and must be purchased separately.

Moving on to the interesting part, both the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro feature similar 11.2-inch LCD displays (3:2 aspect ratio) with a resolution of 3200 x 2136, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a peak brightness of 800 nits .

It also has an 8,850 mAh battery of the same size. The main difference is that the Pad 7’s battery has 45W wired fast charging support, while the Pad 7 Pro has 67W wired fast charging support.

Another difference between the two slates is the camera configuration. While the vanilla model has a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper, the Pad 7 Pro has a much better 50-megapixel main sensor and a 32-megapixel secondary on the front for selfies. Equipped with a camera.

In terms of hardware, the Pad 7 Pro is clearly the better device. The slate is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, while the Pad 7 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset.

When it comes to memory, Xiaomi sells multiple versions of the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro, including 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB, and 12/256 GB models. However, for those who want and can afford a more powerful tablet, the Pad 7 Pro is also available in 12/512 GB.
