Verizon is having some great deals this weekend. In fact, the deals are so good that they might be an attractive option if you’re looking to beat the crowds before Black Friday in November.
For example, you can currently get the (still) excellent iPhone 15 Pro Max for free with the new line of Plus or Ultimate Unlimited plans. This is a really great deal, but I don’t think it will get any better in the future. Previously, you had to trade in this high-end device to get the discount. So getting it for free with a premium or mid-tier unlimited plan is an opportunity worth jumping on.
This week’s Verizon sale also includes great options for the latest iPhone 16 series. The device discounts are the same as last week, but you can get a free iPad 10.9 and six months of free Apple One on any of these devices, which is a great freebie. Will Verizon’s deals be even better this Black Friday?
This week’s notable deal is Verizon’s promotion for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Personally, I don’t think this Black Friday could get any better. You’re already getting a great device worth over $1,000 with the Plus or Ultimate plans, so it’s unlikely this will get even better. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is also now officially discontinued, so you might want to get your hands on one before it disappears forever.
Verizon’s Black Friday sale on the iPhone 16 series is even more complicated to predict. It’s unlikely that carriers will change their base discounts on devices or plans, but carriers may throw in more freebies to sweeten the deal. For example, last year’s sale gave away the iPhone 15 series, as well as the iPad 10.2 and Apple Watch SE. If you’re willing to pay extra each month for various accessory cell phone lines, it’s not a bad idea to wait until Black Friday.
