Former President Trump was in New York on Saturday night campaigning for vulnerable House Republicans with House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, RN.Y., a person familiar with the effort told Fox News. He told News Digital.

Saturday also marked the first day of early voting in the Empire State.

Officials told FOX News Digital that early voting will be a central focus of telerallies, or “tele rallies,” with Trump and other leading Republicans speaking to up to 1 million listeners on Election Day. He said he is urging people not to wait until then.

“New York is Trump country,” Stefanik said. “Hard-working New Yorkers are supporting President Trump in record numbers. Far-left New York Democrats like Kamala Harris and Kathy Hochul are losing the state and their vote numbers are plummeting. We are extremely grateful to the District of New York for continuing to invest in our critical battlegrounds. ”

Stefanik and his team are calling nearly 1 million Trump supporters to drum up enthusiasm ahead of Nov. 5, a person familiar with the plans said.

Other New York Republicans scheduled to be on the call include Nick Larota, Anthony D’Esposito, Mike Lawler, Mark Molinaro and Brandon Williams, the people said.

Republican candidates Mike Ripetri and Alison Esposito are also expected to run.

“Republican momentum is evident across the Empire State, turning New York into a red light, and President Trump’s personal investment in the fight to win in battleground districts like I believe New Yorkers are critical to this year’s Republican resurgence.” It has been proven that it plays a vital role,” said Mr. Esposito told Fox News Digital.

Republicans won a House majority in 2022 in part because of uprisings in New York and California suburbs against the states’ progressive crime policies.

Several of the lawmakers expected to participate in the call are in districts won by President Biden in 2020.

But Saturday night’s call was a sign of confidence in the Republican Party, traditionally a blue stronghold. Republicans are hoping that economic and border frustrations will be enough to deliver victories in dozens of close races.

Esposito said Trump’s support is “very important” this year.

“Events like tonight’s teletown hall are essential to connecting candidates and voters and encouraging everyone to make their voices heard at the polls,” she told Fox News Digital.

Stefanik, who will host the call, is the first member of the 118th Congress to support Trump’s reelection.
