Limitations to keep in mind
Send Later is a great new feature, but there are some limitations to be aware of.
- Messages can only be scheduled up to two weeks in advance. However, this limit may change in future iOS updates.
- This feature is only available for iMessage conversations (blue bubbles) and not for SMS texts to non-iPhone users (green bubbles).
- Your iPhone must be online to send scheduled messages. If your device is offline at the scheduled time, a message will be sent when it reconnects to the Internet.
