It’s been a busy week at Best Buy, and this event is all you need to know how much effort Best Buy has planned this holiday season.

After announcing its plans for Black Friday a full 10 days before Halloween, Best Buy announced three drops of some pretty major products in quick succession: Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro on October 23rd, GoPro Hero10 on October 23rd 24th, and 98-inch TCL QLED TV released on October 25th.

If you’re not familiar with Best Buy Drops, Black Friday season is the perfect time to learn the ropes of this money-saving shopping hack. at the top of the Best Buy mobile app.[Drops]The tab displays the latest list of Best Buy items. drop There are many featured items on sale that week at record low prices. Here, shoppers can preview which products will be available on any given day, so they’re ready to hit “Add to Cart” when each deal opens at 11 a.m. ET on each day.

Drops are first-come, first-served, so it’s important to act quickly. Once the Drop is published, the app will continually update the status bar showing the percentage of inventory requested. Once a particular drop is out of stock, that drop will be gone.

Official drop prices won’t be revealed until then, but checking Amazon’s price history for each product is a genius strategy for making predictions. I have made my own predictions for each of the three products below.

Drop: October 23rd

Samsung announced two new pairs of noise-cancelling earphones at its July 2024 Unpacked event, both of which come with stems. The flashier pair, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro, is the one featured in this drop. The Pro features a snug, canal-forward design like the one found on AirPods Pro, pinch-and-swipeable blade lights on each stem to control volume and more, and more robust sound quality with a new planar tweeter and dual amplifiers. . The July event also introduced Galaxy AI with interpretation functionality on all 3 Series Galaxy Buds. It allows users to get real-time translations of foreign languages they are listening to in listening mode, whether it’s an IRL conversation or the content they’re watching. For Galaxy Z Fold 6 or Flip 6.

Ahead of its October 23 release date, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro is on sale at Amazon for $219.99, while Best Buy sells it for the list price of $249.99. Best Buy has been known to beat Amazon’s Drop record low prices in the past, so we expect the Buds3 Pro to be $209.99 or $199.99.

Drop: October 24th

If you’re on a budget and are interested in a GoPro camo instead of the real thing, pause your research and pick up this GoPro Hero10 Drop. The September 2021 release obviously doesn’t tout new features like enhanced motion stabilization on the Hero12 or GPS on the updated Hero13, but given the presumably reduced price tag, this is still quite a deal. It’s a solid action camera. A notable upgrade to the Hero9, the Hero10 shoots 5.3K video at 60 fps, but can reach 120 fps when shooting in 4K or 2.7K slow motion. It is waterproof without purchasing a separate waterproof case.

Easy-to-tweet sale

Given that a similar Hero10 bundle was on sale during the Prime Day sale for $199.99, we expect Best Buy to sell this Hero10 for well under $200. $179.99 isn’t entirely out of the realm of possibility either.

Drop: October 25th

Best Buy is definitely one of the best stores to buy TVs on sale during the shopping holidays. But this year, Best Buy specifically wants to position itself as a destination for XXL TVs. That is, a TV that is 97 inches or larger. This announcement was followed by the launch of the 98-inch QLED Monster from TCL. This model, the Q6 series, is brighter than the more basic TCL Q5, and an additional layer of quantum dots sandwiched between the screen and LED backlight improves color accuracy, making HDR more valuable. If you’re looking for an affordable way to level up your soccer watching experience this season, this is it.

Ahead of its October 25th release, the 98-inch TCL Q6 is already on sale for $1,999.99. This is the same price as the 98 inch. Non-QLED TCL model. I predict that Best Buy will slash that price by another $500, giving you the opportunity to score the giant 98-inch QLED for $1,499.99.
