Prime Day wasn’t the only super sale this week. Samsung has been promoting some of its own limited-time sales that offer discounts on many of its latest gadgets. This includes an offer on one of the company’s top-of-the-line smartwatches, where you can get the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra for just $249.99 (was $649.99 at the time) when you trade in your old wearable.
A trade-in credit of up to $350 pushes this deal to the top, so if you have an older smartwatch, you could potentially save hundreds of dollars you won’t get anywhere else. So anyone looking to upgrade their existing smartwatch should check with the manufacturer about its value.
If you take delivery of a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, or Apple Watch Ultra, you’ll pay the full price of $350, but there’s a hefty rebate of $200 for slightly older devices and seriously aging technology. There is a minimum rebate of $100.
Today’s best Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra deals
We put this smartwatch through its paces and called it “technically Samsung’s best smartwatch ever” in our Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra review. With a titanium exterior, IP68 rating, and ATM10 water resistance, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is bigger and tougher than past models, ready for swimming.
There’s also a programmable “Quick” button, similar to the “Action” button on Apple Watch Ultra, for easy access to frequently used features and apps. This, along with the fact that it’s better at basic features, makes the Galaxy Watch Ultra a clear upgrade for enthusiasts.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is also featured on our best smartwatches list, so it’s definitely a top choice.
