He was right that the app would give legality to the mass entry of foreign nationals into the United States, where they otherwise would not be allowed.
Recognizing that border flows, especially the historic numbers associated with them, are a political issue, the administration has come up with a brilliant way to allay fears by not arresting people.
More than 1 million immigrants have been granted parole and entered the country using the app.
Many enter the country via border ports, but hundreds of thousands of people also enter the country using programs that allow them to fly into the country and enter the country from the airport.

The only way for foreign nationals who are otherwise not allowed to enter the country to attempt entry at a port of entry is to download the app, provide the necessary information, and make a reservation.

The government says immigrants using the CBP One app are “legally attempting to enter the United States through a U.S. port of entry.”
But this is a lie.
Just because you show up at a port of entry does not mean you have the right to enter the United States.
An effective way to enter the country as a foreigner is to go to a consulate and obtain a visa.
