Tesla released the latest update to its iOS mobile app this week. This includes useful features that allow you to easily access key car controls from your iPhone.

On Friday, Tesla released mobile app v4.38.0 on iOS. This includes the ability for owners to add specific car commands to their iPhone’s Control Center. Owners will be able to access controls such as locks, climate control, charging port access, horn, and even farts from the convenience of a swipe-up Control Center menu.

This menu also provides access to commands such as flashing the headlights, opening and closing the frunk and trunk, but this is only available to users using iOS 18. You can see some screenshots of Tesla car control center commands below. by the weekend Not a Tesla app.

In addition to the ability to add specific commands to the iPhone Control Center, the Tesla mobile app v4.38.0 includes a convenient energy utility that allows users to easily monitor and manage their system’s power limits when using Powerwall or Powershare off-grid. Includes power meter functionality.

Tesla releases updates to its mobile app fairly regularly, often adding new features or simple improvements to existing features. As a recent example, Tesla added a home energy demo to its iOS app earlier this year and added various destination filtering options in a summer update. The company hinted in August that it would be releasing Autopark in a mobile update, along with a simple release notes button never seen before.
