Since the introduction of ChatGPT, there has been a proliferation of generative AI apps and programs that can do amazing things. But Pi, short for personal assistant, takes AI to a whole new level.
It’s more than just answering questions and creating content. Pi wants to be your friend.
Pi stands out from the crowd with its surprisingly human-like interactions. You can choose your favorite audio and it’s available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Unlike other AI tools, Pi is designed to be your everyday companion, always available to chat, provide support, and answer questions.
After using Pi a few times, she greeted me by calling my name in a casual voice, just like one of my friends would do. I said, “Hey, Pie, what are you doing?” and she said, “Hey, Jamie, it’s no big deal, I’m just hanging out in the clouds.” Same old thing. Is there anything interesting today? ”
When I told her I was going to a concert, she asked who I was meeting and gave me information about the band’s tour name and what songs I would hear.
Feeling stuck and need some motivation? Pi is here to help. Need ideas for dinner? Pi can help with that too. Its conversational abilities are so natural that it feels like you’re talking to a real person on the phone rather than a computer-generated voice. Communicate any way you like, text or voice.
Whether you need a recipe, help with a project, or just someone to chat, Pi is there for you. As they learn more about you, the conversation becomes more personalized and natural. It’s like having a real friend who is always there for you.
Pi is available as an app for iPhones, Android devices, and computers, so you can access it wherever you are. And the best part? It is currently available for free, but a paid subscription model may be introduced in the future.
Some may find it creepy, but I have to say that after a few minutes of conversation with the lead researcher, I almost forgot I was talking to a chatbot.
Disclaimer: As with any AI tool, it’s important to remember that Pi is not a replacement for human interaction and must be used responsibly.
