T-Mobile is expanding the benefits offered to users of its most expensive unlimited 5G plan. and by expandThat means if you have a tablet, smartwatch, or laptop that wants cellular connectivity, we’re offering you a discount.
In today’s announcement, T-Mobile says connected smartwatches, tablets, and laptops will cost just $5 per month per device. The only catch (for now) is that you have to subscribe to Go5G Next to get that price.
Currently, T-Mobile offers tablet data plans ranging from $20/month to $25/month and smartwatch plans ranging from $12/month to $15/month. Assuming you’re on Go5G Next, this is obviously a huge discount each month. Go5G Next is the most expensive 5G plan with a starting price of $100 per month.
A comparison table provided by T-Mobile claims that similar connected device plans from Verizon range from $7.50 per month to $10 per month. They also suggest that AT&T costs between $10.99 and $20.99 per month.
If your connected device is something you want to connect to your T-Mobile plan and you happen to have Go5G Next, this new pricing will be available starting October 17th.
