It seems like every company has their own Android tablet these days, but Xiaomi is a big name in this field. And now, according to GSMArena, specifications for the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro (both highly anticipated tablets) have been leaked in China. The tablet received some criticism for its large size, but it’s a feature that many fans like. Although specific release dates are unknown, the two tablets are expected to be released around November of this year, and prices are currently unknown.

When it comes to specs, both tablets feature the same 11.17-inch screen with an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. This is good news for anyone looking to use these to watch their favorite shows or play games. A higher refresh rate means a smoother experience overall. The Pad 7 is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, while the Pad 7 Pro will be powered by the more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.

A more powerful chipset will drain your battery more, but don’t worry. The Pad 7 Pro supports 67 watts of wired charging, while the Pad 7 is limited to just 45W. Please read “only” with just the right amount of sarcasm. 45W wired charging is no problem at all.

For now, that’s all we know. More detailed specifications will probably be available closer to launch, but one thing is for sure: neither of these tablets will take away the crown as the best option from Xiaomi. For now, this remains the company’s top option, the Pad 6S Pro. However, that may not last long. Further rumors suggest that a Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra is in development, and it could surpass anything else Xiaomi currently offers.
