This is typically an $800 tablet and is essentially the flagship release of the current generation base model, with no standard S10 yet. This model is still available in Samsung’s official stores and currently retails for an MSRP of $800. This is significantly lower than the $650 we introduced last month.
Again, it’s not the latest and greatest, but there’s no base model S10 at the moment, only Plus and Ultra sizes. That means the S9 is trading for $387 less than the cheapest S10 you can buy today. I’ve seen the beige 128GB S9 go for less than today’s featured sale a few times, but it wasn’t that expensive and it wasn’t for very long. The graphite model matches the lowest price we’ve tracked on Amazon and comes within $12.50 of the highest price in both colors.
In my opinion, the S9 remains a flagship-worthy build with an 11-inch dynamic AMOLED 2X screen that’s easier to handle than the currently available S10 model. I prefer a more compact tablet form factor. It also features an armored aluminum frame and an IP68 rating. It’s spill and dust resistant and still has a very powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
