Samsung is finally rolling out the long-awaited stable One UI 6 update for Galaxy watches, including the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic. The company previously introduced a beta version of an update based on Google’s Wear OS 5.
As pointed out by SamMobile, Samsung has officially ended the One UI 6 Watch beta and the stable version is now available for the Galaxy Watch 6 series via OTA. The older Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 4 series will soon follow.
The beta program was initially introduced in select regions such as the United States and South Korea. Therefore, smartwatches in these sectors may receive the stable One UI 6 Watch update first before it is rolled out more widely.
Some users on Reddit have already started posting the rollout of new updates to the Galaxy Watch. SamMobile further states that in the new One UI 6 Watch stable build, users can expect significant new features such as a redesigned quick panel and notification cards.

Galaxy Watch users can also check out new fonts in the update next to better Samsung Health features, including an AI-powered energy score. Also, some actions can be performed with a double pinch action.
For those who don’t know, the latest Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch 7 Ultra models are the first Galaxy smartwatches to ship with the One UI 6 Watch stable build, joining their predecessors as well. I’m excited to see what’s going on.
The latest stable firmware for current beta users is a quick 136.33 MB OTA update that includes the October security patch. Non-beta users should expect to receive stable builds for Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic models within the next few days.
