Amazon lowered the prices of its devices just hours before Prime Day, and one tablet was in the spotlight.
The Fire 7 tablet is flying off shelves at a bargain price of £29.99, down from £64.99.

This 7-inch tablet currently tops Amazon’s Movers & Shakers best-selling devices list.
Since the asking price plummeted, sales have increased by a whopping 1,140% in the past 24 hours.
This isn’t surprising considering the popular tablet is currently over half price, just under £30.
The deal comes hours before Amazon’s second annual Prime Day, which officially begins at midnight and is scheduled to run for 48 hours from October 8th to 9th.
Of course, Amazon often likes to give shoppers an early wave of deals, and this is one of many on the company’s popular range of devices.
All Fire tablets are on sale this week, so you’ll be spoiled for choice.
E-commerce deputy editor Matt Breen also reported on a 48% price drop on the premium Fire Max 11 tablet with “excellent battery life.”
But the real bargain is the cheap and cheerful Fire 7 tablet, reduced to £29.99.
We’re also seeing more ideas for Fire streaming sticks, Echo speakers, and Ring doorbells.
These deals are typically exclusive to Prime members, but for now they’re available to all shoppers, but that could change quickly.
This budget tablet is perfect for kids or anyone who just needs an inexpensive tablet to access the internet and streaming platforms.
With a 7-inch display, you can slip it into your bag or coat pocket and use it as an e-reader with even more features.
We can’t argue with the price, but at only £29.99 it’s well worth the purchase.
This option comes with 16 GB of storage, which is enough for kids and light entertainment use.
However, if you plan on downloading a lot of content or games, you can increase this up to 32GB for an additional £10.
