When I first heard about the new REDMAGIC Nova gaming tablet, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I already reviewed the REDMAGIC 9S Pro gaming phone and was pleasantly surprised by this one (except for the front camera, which I made very clear). So when it came to the tablet, I was hoping it would have the one feature I feared the most. Tune in – and you were right!
So we’re off to a good start! This is my review of the REDMAGIC Nova gaming tablet after spending countless hours playing my favorite games. Does it live up to the hype? We’ll find out soon.
A clean design for gamers
The first thing you’ll notice about the Nova gaming tablet is its unique look. The design is very minimal except for the strip on the back with the cooling system and camera. It looks great and has RGB lighting.
When you think of a gaming tablet, you probably imagine something bulky, but that’s not the case here. We like how slim and lightweight it is considering the power under the hood.
Let’s talk about specs
Now that I’ve said how powerful it is, let me quickly explain its specs so you can understand why I praise it so much.
- Processor: Major versions of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
- Memory: UFS4.0+LPDDR5X
- Screen size: 10.9 inch
- Screen resolution: 1800*2880
- Screen refresh rate: 144Hz
- battery: 10,100 mAh battery and 80W fast charger
- cooling system: 9 layers of heat dissipation layer. It features a metal build with under-screen heat dissipation alloy, superconducting graphene, copper foil thermal gel motherboard, copper foil 3D internal circulation air ducts, high-speed centrifugal fan, 3D heat pipes, and integrated aviation aluminum body.
- Hardware: Full-featured USBC-C port, fingerprint unlock, NFC TAG
- software: REDMAGIC OS 9.0 (Android T)/Game Space/X Gravity Platform/Cross-screen interconnection features specifically customized for tablets
- Camera and audio: Front camera 20MP, rear camera 50MP, DTS-X ultra-immersive audio, dual X-axis linear motors, 4 speakers
- material: All-metal transparent design with RGB lighting effects
As you can see, it has an integrated cooling system and a powerful processor, so no matter what games you try (and I’ve tried some very demanding games), you won’t even touch the back. I never felt hot. I think this is a very necessary feature for a gaming tablet, especially since fans are very difficult to install (I just remembered that my ROG Phone 6D Ultimate comes with a nice little attachable cooler) please).
Enough battery life to survive power outages
Yes, we had a power outage for about 24 hours, but the tablet was still gaming great. The longest I’ve ever had a battery last was about 5 days. Shockingly, he said he didn’t have much time to play in the last 5 days, apart from about 2-4 hours each time (doing routines). . That’s believable, but I’m still a little shocked by this.
Fast charging is definitely convenient too!
Great performance in games
Throughout my testing, the REDMAGIC Nova gaming tablet exceeded my expectations. As you probably know by now, I play Cookie Run Kingdom a lot – a lot. For those who don’t know, this game is quite processor intensive. I played it on all my devices, including my laptop, and it would lag, the device would heat up, and it would eventually crash. Every conceivable problem actually happened.
However, once I installed it and played it consistently, I never once felt a burning sensation in my hands, experienced no lag, and never experienced random crashes. It shows how effectively the cooling system and all the other features work, and ties them together nicely to make this a great piece of technology that I believe every mobile gamer should invest in. Masu.
I am fully aware that this is not something I say lightly, but to be honest, teeth that’s nice.
But wait, aren’t there any disadvantages?
Well, I was just as surprised as you. You can’t go wrong with this product. It’s confusing because you can find something weird about anything you want, but when it comes to the REDMAGIC Nova gaming tablet, it does it all. please remember teeth Since it is a gaming tablet, you cannot insert a SIM card and use it as a phone.
So, personally, I don’t care about that. I actually like it because it’s a gaming tablet and I don’t want any distractions. That’s why I have a cell phone. I noticed that the front camera is much improved (compared to REDMAGIC 9S Pro) and that’s all I was looking for.
The cameras are great (selfie camera included and all), fast and responsive, and there’s a lot of storage space, so for me it’s everything I could hope for and more.
Oh, and in case you couldn’t tell, I have about 10 games that I play every day, so you can imagine I’m using it pretty much non-stop.
If you want to get your hands on it, you can buy it from the REDMAGIC official website starting at 499 euros.
