The wait is almost over. The owners of Ravin’s Donuts & Boba Tea will open their new Apple Valley store in time for Halloween.
Owners Sam and Raven Fong told the Daily Press that Raven’s will begin serving customers Oct. 15 at the new store near the intersection of Highway 18 and Rancherias Road.
Store hours are 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.
To celebrate opening day, all donuts and drinks, excluding bottles and cans, will be 25% off.

A tour of the store in September revealed new kitchen equipment and a lobby with a custom counter and donut showcase.
Sam told the Daily Press: “We’re almost there, boss. With a little more effort, we’ll be open.”
Sam and Raven sold their Victorville store about two years ago and stepped away from the business and social media.
In April, the couple surprised longtime customers by announcing they were opening a new store in Apple Valley. For nearly five months, the Fongs posted on Facebook that they were “looking forward to” the opening of their new store.
Expanding the fan base of donut customers
Over the years, Vons has built a customer following at its 7th Street Victorville store due to its friendliness and specialty homemade donuts, cupcakes, croissants, bagels, muffins and cakes.
We also offer ice cream, fruit smoothies, banana splits, milkshakes, shaved ice, boba drinks, hot or iced cappuccino, and tea and coffee.
The Fons also made seasonal donuts for birthdays, anniversaries, parties and other special events. Some of the most popular themed donuts included Dodgers, Christmas, Pokemon, Elmo, Cookie Monster, and unicorns.
Several customers told the Daily Press that they plan to drive from Victorville to Apple Valley to buy donuts once Sam and Lavin open their new store.
“They don’t say much, but Sam and Lavin are the friendliest business owners we know,” Victorville resident Olivia Perez said. “When we walked into their old home, they treated us like family. My kids love them.”
Voters even named Rabin’s Donuts the top spot in the Daily Press’ Best of Dessert contest.
Ravin’s Donuts & Boba Tea is located at 20152 Outer Highway 18 N. Suite A in Apple Valley.
