Samsung Electronics’ latest Galaxy Buds3 series allows users to experience a whole new level of immersive listening and communication while enjoying music and making calls anytime, anywhere. With a comfortable fit, rich sound quality, and advanced AI features, the Galaxy Buds3 series is a triple-decker for an unparalleled sound experience.

Achieving a comfortable fit using 3D ear data and AI

Q: What were you most concerned about when planning the Galaxy Buds3 series?

Nam: For the Galaxy Buds3 series, we had an internal goal of planning a new product from scratch rather than improving on previous versions. Fit is a key element for the Galaxy Buds series, as ergonomic fit is the foundation for the best sound quality and convenience. Human ears are as unique as fingerprints, so we thoroughly researched ear shapes and collected a variety of 3D ear data. Based on the results, we were able to come up with a new design that boasts a more secure fit.

Q: How did Galaxy AI influence your plans for the Galaxy Buds3 series?

Kim: We aimed to use AI to provide a personalized listening experience for every individual. When users wear the Galaxy Buds3 series, the active noise canceling (ANC) feature and sound are optimized based on AI-powered algorithms that analyze sound differences through internal and external microphones in real-time. Galaxy AI seamlessly completes the wearability and functionality of the new exterior design.

Nam: Thanks to Galaxy AI, the communication experience provided by the Galaxy Buds3 series has been significantly improved. Specifically, AI technology can restore the caller’s voice even in various noisy environments, improving call quality. Additionally, when connected to a Galaxy smartphone, you can use listening mode with the interpreter function.[1]

Balances excellent sound quality with optimal ease of use

Q. What is your most memorable part of the planning process?

Kim: We visited various speaker stores and listened to different types of speakers to gain insight into their sound quality. Additionally, we attended in-depth seminars on sound led by renowned acoustics professors, and used a variety of techniques to create sophisticated ultra-high fidelity audio. We are pleased that our efforts have been rewarded with positive feedback from users who appreciate the balanced sound from bass to treble of the Galaxy Buds3 Pro.

Nam: It was memorable to conduct consumer evaluations during the early stages of production. Our research shows that many users wanted more control over their sound and noise cancellation, so we’re adding custom features that allow users to fine-tune their equalizer (EQ) and noise controls to their liking. did. It was very meaningful for us to incorporate user feedback collected during the early stages of product development. We would also like to thank the developers who have actively supported us throughout this journey.

Q. What is your favorite feature of the Galaxy Buds3 series?

Nam: I want to talk about voice commands. This is a feature that allows users to control their Galaxy Buds3 series with their voice, eliminating the need to touch their smartphone or earphones. Even when users’ hands are busy washing the dishes or taking out the trash, they can adjust the volume, change the music, or even answer a call with simple voice commands. All features of the Galaxy Buds3 series are thoughtfully designed to accommodate different user scenarios.

Looking to the future of sound innovation

Q. How would you describe the new Galaxy Buds3 series in one word or sentence?

Kim: For me, this project is a combination of my passion and profession. As an audiophile with a keen interest in audio products, I found the Galaxy Buds3 series to be a great performer. The Galaxy Buds3 series is a product that I can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.

Nam: I think it’s like a “vitamin”. I felt the energy at every step of the development of the Galaxy Buds3 series, from planning to launch. We hope that users will be able to immerse themselves in this new world of sound and gain vitality with Galaxy Buds3 Pro.

Q. What’s next for the Galaxy Buds series?

Nam: We want to develop the Galaxy Buds series into products that utilize AI to better understand individuals. In addition to providing great sound tailored to each user, we expect this device to provide optimized solutions for users across a variety of areas, including interpretation.

Kim: Sound innovation is a never-ending journey. We are constantly working with developers to improve the richness and reliability of the sound. We appreciate your continued support and interest.
