In the series opener, the Rapids were without Djordje Mihajlovic due to an ankle sprain, Michael Edwards was out with a sore back and Cole Bassett continued to recover from a quadriceps injury.
From game day against Austin FC to Game 1 of this series, two changes were made to the Rapids’ starting lineup, with Zach Steffen taking back the goal spot in place of Adam Bewdry and Mihajlovic replacing Mihajlovic. Former Galaxy winger Kevin Cabral was added to the lineup.
