It comes with a magnetic cover and an EMR pen stylus to take notes, annotate documents and e-books, or draw a mustache on a friend’s selfie.
PineNote software support is community-based, and applications are extracted from what is already available on Linux (it also works on ARM). to take notes, Xournal++ comes pre-installed out of the box, and reading e-book files is handled by great features. Foliate.

It may sound like we’re trying to discourage you from buying, but we’re not. Although it’s the only device of its kind and the software side has matured significantly over the past year, it’s still a good buy. Don’t expect a perfect experience, be aware of the rough edges.
Pine64 says PineNote Community Edition teeth “While it will be great for early adopters, it should still be considered a product in beta.”
