Apple this week released macOS Sequoia 15.1, the first update to enable Apple Intelligence tools on Mac. However, thanks to Parallels Desktop, you can now use some of these tools in your Windows apps as well.
As Parallels notes in a blog post, users running Windows virtual machines on Macs with macOS 15.1 or later can also take advantage of Apple Intelligence’s writing tools in their Windows apps. Writing tools allow users to proofread and rewrite text to make it more usable, professional, and concise.
Apple Intelligence’s writing tools also provide options for summarizing text, breaking it down into key points, and turning it into lists and tables.
“Thanks to Parallels Tools, you can now use Apple Writing Tools to improve text in Windows apps like Microsoft Word,” explains the Parallels team. First, of course, you need a Mac running macOS 15.1 with Apple Intelligence enabled. Please note that Apple Intelligence requires Mac M1 or later.
Next, after making sure Apple Intelligence is enabled on your Mac, open your Windows virtual machine in Parallels Desktop and[アクション]Click on the menu[Parallels Tools の更新]Select an option. Earlier this year, Parallels Desktop was updated to fully support the ARM version of Windows 11 on M3 Macs. This software was later updated to improve support for games running on Windows.
