OnePlus recently announced OxygenOS 15, the latest version of its user interface based on Android 15. The new update brings a number of subtle and not-so-subtle changes that OnePlus claims will lead to faster performance and a snappier overall experience compared to OxygenOS. 14.
When will OxygenOS 15 be released?
OnePlus has confirmed that the first open beta of OxygenOS 15 will begin rolling out to OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R users on October 30th. Meanwhile, OnePlus Open and OnePlus Pad 2 users are next in line and are expected to receive an open beta update in November. The update cycle will continue until February, with OnePlus 10r and OnePlus Nord CE 3 being the last devices to receive the first open beta.

What’s new in OxygenOS 15?
1) Share files to iPhone:
OxygenOS 15 comes with a new file sharing system called OnePlus Share, which allows seamless transfer of files between iPhone and OnePlus devices. OnePlus says real-time file sharing progress will be visible on the iPhone’s Dynamic Island.
2) Features of AI Photo:
OxygenOS 14 already comes with a ton of AI features for photography, but OnePlus takes it a step further with its latest update, introducing new features like AI Unblur, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Detail Boost, and Pass Scan. Masu.

a) AI Unblur: Fix image blur.
b) AI Detail Boost: Provides a one-click solution to identify pixelated images and improve sharpness.
c) AI Reflection Eraser: Removes slight and strong reflections with just one tap and restores natural image details.
d) Pass Scan: Add your physical boarding pass to Google Wallet with one click.
3) AI productivity features:
OxygenOS 15 also takes things a step further by adding new artificial intelligence-powered productivity features like AI Notes and AI Reply.
AI Notes helps users make their writing more engaging by expanding or contracting the content, adjusting the format, and improving the structure of the sentences. This new feature also includes audio compatibility, allowing users to transcribe their recordings and remove unnecessary fillers.
The new AI reply option in the smart sidebar generates contextually relevant replies within the chat app, allowing users to respond quickly to family and friends.
4) Open canvas:
OnePlus is introducing the Open Canvas feature on all OxygenOS 15 devices, allowing users to take advantage of the big screen space by placing three apps on a split screen. This feature was first introduced on OnePlus Open and later on OnePlus Pad 2 as well.
5) Circle search and intelligent search:
Google’s Circle to Search feature, which was a key selling point for the Pixel 8 and Samsung Galaxy S24 series, has also been introduced to OxygenOS 15. This feature allows users to search the web using intuitive gestures like drawing a circle or marking a doodle. Tap. In OxygenOS 15, you can enable the Circle to Search feature by long-pressing the navigation bar or pressing the home button.
Meanwhile, OnePlus also confirmed that Gemini will be integrated as the default AI assistant on upcoming flagship OnePlus devices.
