Previous generation tablets still offer great value for money. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor is plenty fast, and the Pad’s crisp 11.6-inch LCD offers a fast 144Hz refresh rate, which is rare in this price range. It also has an impressive quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos support, making it an especially great device for watching movies.
The Android tablet app ecosystem is limited and the OnePlus Pad has few useful multitasking features, so we don’t recommend it as a work device. However, if you just need a tablet for light productivity work or entertainment purposes, there are few tablets in this price range that can compete with the Pad.
