OnePlus has officially started rolling out OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15. The company has confirmed that 16 OnePlus devices will get Android 15 in open beta, with the last phones getting the new OS in February next year.
OnePlus detailed everything you can expect from OxygenOS 15, right down to smoother animations. The company’s new OS includes a ton of AI features, including a new AI assistant in the Notes app, Circle to Search, and AI-powered image upscaling. We’ve covered the entire release, but it includes a lot more features.
According to a post on OnePlus’ official forums, the beta version of Android 15 will be available on 16 devices. Of course, it starts with OnePlus 12 on October 30th. From there, the company will detail which devices will receive the Android 15 beta in which months. In particular, OnePlus Open and OnePlus Pad 2 will receive an update in November, while OnePlus 11 will receive a beta version in December.
This will continue until February 2025. By that point, a large number of devices high on the list will have received the full deployment. OnePlus notes that the order and timeline are subject to change and as this is a beta rollout, nothing is set in stone.
