Samsung Galaxy AI is scheduled for major expansion in 2025. Following its launch earlier this year, Samsung’s AI feature set has expanded to many products. The company has big plans for Galaxy AI scheduled for next year.
TM Roh has reportedly confirmed that Samsung will expand Galaxy AI to all mobile devices in 2025. Products that will benefit may include tablet PCs, laptops, wearable devices, as well as the Galaxy A series in the lower price segment.
Speaking to employees at a regular meeting at City Hall, Dr. Roh said Samsung’s goals are to: “Galaxy AI ecosystem” According to Korean media reports, the company plans to introduce AI models to all mobile devices.
As of September 2024, over 20 million Samsung devices are running Galaxy AI. This includes the latest Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. AI features are now available on many older flagships, including the 2022 Galaxy S22 lineup.
Recently, Samsung rolled out the Circle to Search feature to its Galaxy A55, A35, and many other budget devices. During SDC24, Sally confirmed that more AI features will be supported on Galaxy A series smartphones starting next year.
Expectations for Galaxy S24
TM Roh’s confirmation to employees is consistent with Samsung’s plans. Apple continues to grow as Chinese vendors increase competition. Galaxy AI could be a very useful weapon to continue dominating the smartphone market.
Furthermore, the head of MX has high hopes that the Galaxy S24 series will boost Samsung’s smartphone business this year. Samsung also launched the Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 with Galaxy AI, but the S24 series remains the main focus.
