Have you ever wanted to listen to the Mario Kart Wii Coconut Mall track on repeat? Now you can. Nintendo has released an all-new smartphone app featuring classic soundtracks from popular games.
According to the announcement trailer, Nintendo Music is a free app that can be accessed by Nintendo Switch Online members, a paid subscription service for Switch console users. The app is currently available in 45 countries and is supported on Apple devices running iOS 16 or later and Android devices running Android OS 9 or later.

The app curates playlists centered around specific characters, moments, and moods, but fans can also create their own playlists based on their favorite Nintendo series. Fans can listen to extended cuts or loops of top tracks for up to 60 minutes without interruption, and with offline support, they can download songs at any time.
What kind of soundtracks does Nintendo Music actually include?
The Nintendo Switch 2 hasn’t been officially announced yet, but the app features playlists of games like Super Mario Bros., Animal Crossing, Metroid, and Pokémon, so it should hopefully hold up well until then. Additionally, some music has been featured on consoles such as the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo Switch.
Interestingly and interestingly, the Nintendo Music app includes a spoiler feature that allows you to filter out tracks that could ruin a game you haven’t completed yet. Here is the complete list of games currently included in the app:
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons
- super donkey kong country
- fire emblem sword of flames
- Kirby Star Allies
- mario kart 8 deluxe
- metroid prime
- Pikmin 4
- Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet
- splatoon 3
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Since the app has just been released, we can assume that more games and soundtracks will be added in the future. But for now, I’m going to be listening to DK Island Swing for the next 10 hours straight.
