In addition to the new features coming to Pixel phones in Android 15, Google is also introducing new anti-theft features to all Android phones, which is a big deal. These are all part of new anti-theft features, including a new theft detection lock. If your phone detects theft (using motion sensors, Wi-Fi, or other connections), it will automatically lock.
The new Offline Device Lock is a secondary anti-theft measure that locks your phone if you turn off your data connection to prevent thieves from tracking your device.
Remote lock, available in Find My Device settings, works when your device is still online and allows you to lock it from a website. Android Central Senior Editor Jerry Hildenbrand says this is one of the best security features Google has come out with in a while.
These features are now rolling out across Android smartphones.

If you’re tired of the same old Kindle device with a black and white screen, Amazon is here to add a little spice to your reading. The company has announced a new family of Kindle tablets. Many of them are updates, but one has a full-color display.
Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition features a 7-inch “Colorsoft” display optimized for reading. As a result of this optimization, Amazon says the display “doesn’t have any of the harsh glare or harsh light of traditional backlit screens.” Users will now experience full-color illustrations with faster page turns and better image quality than traditional Kindles.
For readers who like to highlight things, Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition also offers a variety of color highlighter options to add a little spice to your reading and help organize your thoughts.
Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition is available for pre-order now and will ship on October 30th.

The Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 5 is one of our favorite Wear OS smartwatches, and while we got a new Enduro version earlier this year, the company is back with essentially another version of the watch.
The TicWatch Atlas takes what’s great about the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro and builds it into a more durable smartwatch with a rugged design and redesigned button layout. It’s physically larger than this year’s flagship TicWatch Pro 5 model and features a stainless steel chassis with a sapphire crystal display. It also runs Wear OS 4 out of the box. This is a pretty good sign even though Wear OS 5 is already available on Galaxy and Pixel smartwatches.
Otherwise, the watch features many of the same specs, including a Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a huge 628mAh battery. You can also access all your health metrics on a secondary, low-power display, allowing your battery to last significantly longer than most other Android smartwatches.
Atlas can be purchased for $350.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has only been out for a few months, but Samsung is reportedly preparing a new version that could be launched soon, and it could be the best yet. It could become a true competitor to foldable phones. year.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 “Special Edition” has been rumored for a while as a phone with a slimmer body, larger display, and improved camera. We’re now hearing that its launch may be imminent. According to a report from FNNews, Samsung plans to launch the phone on October 25th, which is less than a week away. However, Samsung itself posted a teaser for the “New Galaxy” that is scheduled to be announced just a few days later, on October 21st.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition is rumored to be just 4.9mm thick when unfolded and 10.6mm when folded, making it thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, but still thicker than other foldables such as the Honor Magic V3. It is thicker than the formula model. There are also rumors that it will be equipped with a 200MP primary camera.
These are some of this week’s biggest news. In the meantime, here are some other stories worth paying attention to.
