Onyx Boox has announced the new Note Air4 CE Ink tablet, which has several improvements over its predecessor. It measures the same 10.3-inch E Ink Carta 1200 display with a Kaleido 3 panel for color effects. The resolution is 2480 x 1860 or 300 PPI when displaying black and white content, or halved to 1240 x 930 or 150 PPI for color content. The display benefits from a warm and cool adjustable front light, which improves reading comfort in ambient lighting conditions.
Plus, the onboard Boox Super Refresh or BSR technology delivers crystal-clear display and fast page refresh times. There are absolutely no remnants of the previous display to detract from the viewing experience. The included stylus, which Onyx calls Pen Plus, provides a natural, paper-like writing experience. Pen Plus is perfect for expressing your inner creativity with notes, annotations, drawings, and more. Capacitive pens support 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
On the other side, there is an octa-core processor with 6 gigs of memory and 128 gigs of storage. Thanks to the new high-performance processor, Boox claims a full 50% increase in performance. It runs the latest Android 13 and allows you to install third-party apps to improve your productivity. The tablet-like UI is simple and clean, ensuring easy and quick navigation.
The OS also makes it easy to organize your notes using folders and tags. The new outline feature allows you to outline your notes with a clear structure. Linking tools connect all your notes, other documents, and online information, making it easy to access when you need it.
Air 4C connectivity options include Wi-Fi 2.4G and 5G, and Bluetooth 5.1. Onboard sensors include a G-sensor that automatically rotates the screen depending on the orientation of the device. Features on this tablet include a fingerprint sensor, integrated power button, dual speakers, and a USB-C port. There’s also a microSD card slot for additional storage.
Power comes from a 3,700 mAh battery that will easily last you about a week. It measures just 5.8 mm and weighs 420 grams. Supported e-book and audiobook formats include PDF, EPUB, AZW3, MOBI, TXT, DOCX, WAV, and MP3.
As for pricing, the new Note Air4C is available to order now for $499.99.
As I have a keen interest in technology, I always try to keep up to date with the latest developments in technology and gadgets. This includes smartphones and tablet devices, but also extends to AI and self-driving cars. The latter is my latest craze. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, and trying out different recipes. Film is also a very interesting aspect for me and I will probably make a film sometime in the future.
