U.S. EV maker Lucid Motors confirmed on Tuesday that production of its first SUV, the Lucid Gravity, will begin in late 2024, with orders beginning next week on November 7.
However, the first year of production will be limited to the more expensive Grand Touring version starting at $94,900.
Nick Twork, head of communications at Lucid, shared details of the timeline via social media, writing, “Orders to KSA [Kingdom of Saudi Arabia] Other markets will be announced in the near future. ”
The executive added in a separate post that Lucid Gravity ships with Android Auto, and Lucid Air is “very close” to integration and is currently certified by Google. This system joins the already available Apple CarPlay.

The entry-level Lucid Gravity model is expected to have a starting price of $79,900, and the Lucid Gravity Touring is expected to go into production within the next 12 to 14 months, late next year.
Gravity’s option pricing and lease details will also be revealed on November 7 when the online configurator goes live, Twork confirmed.
