This time, there are only two options for the Galaxy Tab. The Galaxy Tab S10+, or the powerful Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra (for those looking for a larger display and slightly enhanced battery life). In the previous Galaxy Tab S9 series, you could choose from four models: the standard model Galaxy Tab S9, S9+, S9 Ultra, and S9 FE. We like that Samsung has simplified the options for consumers this year, but few will complain about not getting a more compact tablet (we’ll probably see an FE model next year) .
So what’s the difference between the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra (below) and the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus tablet? The obvious difference is the display, with the S10+ measuring 12.4 inches, while the Tab S10 Ultra model is wider at 14.6 inches. This may sound like a big difference, but when you actually compare the sizes (as I did), the difference is pretty huge. That said, the Tab S10+ is still a great size and perfect for most tasks.
Other differences include storage size and RAM. This is because only the Tab S10 Ultra is available in a larger 1TB format with 16GB of RAM. It also includes battery capacity. The S10 Ultra once again dominates in this area with its 11,200 mAh battery. In terms of design and construction, the S10 Plus is lighter and thinner than its sibling, with only one front camera compared to two on the Ultra model. There is a price difference to consider between the two tablets, but that’s pretty much the only difference.
In terms of power and performance, both the Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra are very similar. Each is powered by the exact same Dimensity chipset and has all the same Galaxy AI features, including the newly updated Transcript and Note Assist, which lets you record audio directly into the Samsung Notes app for transcription and summarization. Now you can. As I witnessed at Samsung headquarters, the Tab S10 Plus excels at a variety of tasks, including photo editing, web browsing, drawing and sketching, using creative apps, streaming content, schoolwork, and gaming.

As for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, I’m thoroughly impressed with my experience with this tablet so far (full review in progress). One of the standout features is, of course, the stunning 14.6-inch AMOLED display with an impressive 120HZ refresh rate and 90.7% screen-to-body ratio, perfect for streaming content. It can also be used as a drawing tablet, a digital canvas for illustrators and artists to get creative with the S Pen (included), and take advantage of Galaxy AI’s Sketch-to-Image feature. You can use it.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has the same specs as the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus model, except for a larger display, better resolution, bigger battery, and an additional 12MP f/2.2 wide front camera to accompany the existing ultrawide 12MP. It has all the features. f/2.4 camera.
The retail price of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is the same as the original price of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, and it’s roughly equivalent to Apple’s iPad Pro M4 model, albeit with a smaller display and no AI. That’s great, but there are some reasonably priced Android tablets with similar specs for half the price (like the Honor MagicPad2 at just $499), so what really justifies this premium-priced tablet? I doubt it.
