Xiaomi has some impressive Android tablet lineups for different regions, including the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 series. A recent leak from China has revealed some details about the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro.
The leak comes from a Weibo post (via GSMArena) and indicates that the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro may share the same 11.6-inch LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate display .
Xiaomi’s current flagship tablet, the Pad 6S Pro, has the same refresh rate, but has a larger screen at 12.4 inches. The leaked specs further reveal that the Pad 7 could be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, while the Pro model could be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
Future tablets will also have significantly different battery charging speeds. The non-Pro model has a charging speed of up to 45W, while the Pro model supports Xiaomi’s 67W ultra-fast charging.
The latest leak suggests that the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro are promising. While the previous model featured an 11-inch screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, the new version is expected to come with an upgraded SoC and faster charging speeds. However, the battery capacity has not yet been disclosed.
The launch date for these upcoming tablets is still unknown, but it is believed that they will see the light of day alongside the Xiaomi 15 series, which is rumored to launch later this month.
Currently, Xiaomi sells Pad 6S Pro as its flagship Android product in China and other regions. The company also sells the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro, which were launched globally last year, with the first launch taking place in early April 2023.
