Apple’s iPhone 16 camera promised to take beautiful photos from up close and far. So why do people think new cameras are inferior to past versions?

Featured videos

Every time a new iPhone is released, it creates a new level of excitement and hype. Each new generation of iPhone is supposed to improve upon previous versions and provide customers with new and advanced features.

And yet, people are saying that this new Apple iPhone 16 has the worst camera.

This TikTok posted by @hannahhaha_jones expresses her dissatisfaction with the new iPhone 16’s camera. She complains that the camera quality doesn’t match the crystal clear video she takes.

In the original video, a content creator shows the difference between his video and a photo taken with an iPhone 16 camera. Even if your camera’s photos are blurry and grainy, your videos will be crisp and crisp.

Apple claims that the new iPhone 16’s camera is a versatile camera that can take high-quality photos and videos from any distance. They call it an “ultrawide” camera.

The ultra-wide-angle camera lets you take clear, detailed photos and videos in any situation. This iPhone 16 camera also has improved framing capabilities and aperture settings to help you take high-quality photos in low-light conditions.

So do people think this new iPhone 16 has a better camera?

Customers who expected improvements from this camera have experienced the opposite. Several TikTok, Reddit posts, and Apple discussion threads discuss the drop in quality. Customers are upset, claiming that past versions of the phone take better photos than the new Apple iPhone 16. However, Apple has not addressed these claims or released any solutions on how to fix this.

What causes images to become grainy?

There are several reasons why photos become grainy. Zoom, lighting, hand movements, aperture, and front and rear cameras all come into play when you take a photo. The problem is that most of us don’t want to think about these settings. I just want to easily take high quality photos without having to think about any of these settings. Basically, this great new camera isn’t as versatile or easy to use out of the box as users might have hoped.

So How can I fix these grainy images?

One of the top solutions for this TikTok recommends changing the camera preset options.

Apple hasn’t announced a specific solution for this, but here are some recommendations to fix grainy photos.

  1. [設定]>[カメラ]>[フォーマット]Move to.
  2. Camera capture = high efficiency
  3. Photo mode = 24MP
  4. Pro Default = HEIF Max
  5. Turn on ProRAW and Res Control toggle
  6. Switch between ProRAW and Res in save settings
  7. Change 28 and 35 mm on Fusion camera to ON

So what did viewers think of the new Apple iPhone 16 camera?

“It seems like every time a new iPhone comes out, everyone says this,” one person commented.

“HDR resolution. I turned it off in settings,” one person suggested.

“I have 15 and it has the same effect and drives me crazy,” added one.

“No, she thought I was just overthinking it,” one person joked.
