Infuse video player updated with new design and Vision Pro app

Infuse, the popular video player available for Apple devices, got a big update today. With the release of Infuse 8, the app has a new design and version for Apple Vision Pro. Keep reading to learn more about what’s new in Infuse 8.

New features in Infuse 8 video player

One of the highlights of Infuse 8 is the addition of new apps made specifically for Apple Vision Pro. It runs natively on visionOS and allows users to watch videos on a giant virtual screen on their device. According to the developer, 3D video and immersive environment support will be added soon in a future update.

Even if you don’t have Apple Vision Pro, Infusion 8 comes with other new features. The interface has been redesigned to make the app simpler and more modern on all platforms. Added new playback controls for easy access to audio track and subtitle selection options, volume boost, and playback speed.

This app is also optimized for the latest Apple devices such as iPhone 16.

“We took a big step towards handling these large libraries earlier this year by adding Direct Mode. 8.0 builds on that same focus with a completely revamped browsing infrastructure. “This significantly improves app performance and makes lists and items on the home screen load faster,” said Firecore founder James Abeler.

Infuse 8 is currently available for free on the App Store and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Vision Pro. Some features require a paid subscription or perpetual license.
