Apple continues to outdo itself with one hardware release after another. This time, it’s the new iPad Mini, which is the first refresh of a small tablet in several years. Like other recent announcements, the new Mini is centered around Apple Intelligence. Apple Intelligence is a resource-intensive iOS update that promises a lot of great features, including streamlining your experience and making your photos and videos look better.

The new iPad Mini model is now available for pre-order, with a shipping date set for October 23rd. Here’s how to save money and get one.

New Apple iPad Mini (A17 Pro)

Here’s what you need to know about the new iPad Mini. iPad Mini is powered by the A17 processor with a 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU for increased speed and hardware-accelerated ray tracing. It’s significantly more capable than the 6th generation Mini released in 2021. Like all of Apple’s recent releases, it charges via USB-C and supports Wi-Fi 6E for faster downloads. It also ships with iPadOS 18, built around the new Apple Intelligence AI. This makes Siri even more useful, giving you access to photo editing, writing assistance, and other tools. Read the full summary here. All models will ship on October 23rd, but you can pre-order them now.

Above is the lowest-priced configuration of the new iPad Mini (Wi-Fi, 128GB internal storage), but other configurations are available.

Pre-orders for the iPad Mini are also available at Best Buy. We also offer the option to trade in your previous tablet model at a discount. If you own a comparably priced previous generation Mini or tablet, you can save up to $260 off your pre-order.

You can also pre-order the new iPad Mini from Apple.

Not ready to upgrade yet? There are some solid offers when it comes to previous-generation iPads.

Apple iPad (9th generation)

The 2021 base model iPad received our Editors’ Choice Award, with reviews saying, “It performs better than its more expensive Android competitors and has a great display for work and play. “You can be prepared and receive OS updates for years.” come. “With a bright, clear screen, a robust front-facing camera for FaceTime calls, and a capable A13 Bionic CPU, it’s a great value at over $100 off. Apple iPad Mini (6th generation)

When the 6th generation Mini was released, we received a lot of praise in our reviews, saying it “offers pro-level power in a small size that’s great for reading, taking notes, and carrying in your jacket pocket.” Ta. Featuring an upgraded A15 chipset, a larger screen than the previous generation, USB-C charging, and support for the 2nd generation Apple Pencil, it’s still a great value for the new model on the market. The dual speakers sound great and the battery life is solid. The $120 price reduction is greatly appreciated.

The M4-powered iPad Pro only hit store shelves earlier this year, so it’s a bit surprising that the price has dropped. However, we’re not looking at the gift horse’s mouth, as this is one of the best tablets on the market for creatives. Our review gives the Pro an Editors’ Choice Award, saying it’s “impressive hardware with a new OLED display, next-generation M4 processor, improved camera, and a selection of fresh accessories.” Awarded. If you do processor-intensive tasks like music creation or video editing, this is the iPad you need.
