With the release of Android 15 on Pixel devices this week, Google pushed out a Feature Drop to celebrate. new drop At least 10 new features were delivered. One of them is very useful for those who have multiple Pixel devices, including Pixel tablets.
A new feature called “Close Notifications Across Pixel Devices” syncs notifications across devices, so you’re less likely to have old notifications sitting around on devices you don’t use often. This is still new so I haven’t had a chance to use it much, but I wanted to make sure everyone knows where to find it and enable it.
To start syncing notifications on your Pixel device, you need to do the following:
First of all, everything needs to be updated and installed on Android 15. Once all your Pixel devices are there, [設定]and search for “Close notifications.” This results in “Close notifications across Pixel devices” Settings area. It is located within the Device Connection Services section. At some point this all becomes[設定]>[通知]You should be able to find it in , but it’s not listed there yet, so you’ll have to search for it.
Once found, toggle it on. “Close on this device” buttonWhen you click , another screen appears that allows notification access to the device connectivity service. If you have multiple Google Accounts, you can also choose which Google Account to use. You can see what these screens look like in the image above.
now, Repeat this set of steps on all Pixel devices. Make sure there is synchronization between them.
As Google explains, this setting “will prevent notifications you ignore on either your Pixel phone or tablet from appearing on both devices.” It also needs to be “turned on for all devices you want to sync” with the same Google Account.
I’ll let you know how it goes!
