Hilarious video introduces new AI gadget that ‘allows dogs to talk’ with human voice-activated collar

Pet owners can finally talk to their dogs thanks to a bizarre AI-powered collar that looks a lot like the Disney movie “Up.”

Shazam Pet Band speaks to its owner in real time with human-like reactions and even tells jokes.

However, this gadget does not have the power to read your pet’s thoughts.

Instead, the device uses advanced technology to analyze sensors, machine learning, and data that interpret your pet’s emotions, health needs, and inferences, according to personifi AI, the company behind this wild idea. It is said that it is a combination.

And since all the dialogue is pre-recorded, it’s not as intelligent as you might think.

Approximately 8,000 lines of dialogue have been recorded and more will be added.

Users can choose from 27 different dog or cat personas, including a fast-talking mafia boss, a lovable goofball, and a witty southern belle.

Besides the fun features, there are some very useful safety tools.

For example, by listening to the sounds rattlesnakes make, you can detect and warn of dangers such as rattlesnakes.

It also listens for munching sounds during meals and keeps track of when mealtimes typically occur.

So if your dog accidentally forgets or misses a meal, the collar will alert you loudly.

“The Shazam Band is a game-changer for the bond we share with our pets,” explains John McHale, CEO of Personnifi AI.

“We’ve always imagined what our pets would say if they could talk, but you don’t have to imagine anymore.

“Shazam makes that dream a reality, bringing joy, empathy, and understanding to every interaction.”

But this gadget isn’t related to the Shazam song recognition app, and it’s not cheap, starting at $495/£380.

And you have to pay a subscription to get the best features. Cat collars and ‘Ultra’ collars cost $195 / £150 per year, and so-called ‘BrainBoost’ services cost $295 / £227 per year.

There is no subscription fee for the first year.
