Google announced that an improved commenting experience is coming to Docs, Sheets, and Slides users on Android tablets. This is the same commenting experience that Google rolled out earlier this year, but for the web versions of these apps. This update brings design and filtering improvements to your web experience, allowing you to view, navigate, and reply to comments. More comfortable than ever.
The most obvious change you can see is the layout of the comments section. You will now be able to see the first comment in a comment thread, the last two replies, and optionally all comments in the discussion.
Similar to the web experience, the newly released commenting experience Android tablet Brings comments in context. Not to mention that it utilizes the entire tablet screen for a better experience.

The ability to filter comments is another important new improvement. Navigation tabs and filters in the comments panel make it easy to find relevant comments without having to switch to another view.
Google says these new changes to Docs, Sheets, and Slides are rolling out to immediate release domains starting today, and other users should see improvements after October 29th.
In terms of availability, Google announced that it has improved the commenting experience. Android tablet is available to all Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and users with personal Google Accounts.
