Google Chrome's 'Listen to this Page' feature begins rolling out to Android users: Here's what it's all about
Google has started rolling out a “Listen to this page” feature in Chrome for Android, allowing users to listen to articles even when using other apps or when the screen is locked. This feature offers 10 voices, adjustable playback speed, text highlighting and auto-scrolling options.

Google has reportedly started rolling out “.listen to this pagefunction of Android user. According to a report from 9to5Google, the latest Chrome update – chrome 130 We are releasing a feature that allows you to listen to articles while using other apps. The feature was first discovered in June of this year when it was hidden behind an experimental flag.

What new features in Chrome mean for users

With this new feature, Chrome will continue playing even if you switch to another app or lock your phone’s screen. a media player Appears in the notification panel and provides basic controls to the user. The media player also displays article headlines and websites.
This feature also allows users to choose from 10 different voices. You can also choose playback speed – 0.5x to 4x increments. Additionally, users can enable “Text Highlighting and Autoscrolling”.
According to the report, once the feature reaches devices, it will be accessible through the three-dot menu in Chrome. Users can configure Chrome settings[ツールバー]Go to shortcut options,[このページを聞く]You can also add a shortcut next to the address bar by selecting the option.
