Geely Galaxy Starship 7 crossover equipped with NordThor 2.0 plug-in hybrid system will go on sale in China on November 4th. The 4.7 meter long SUV has a combined range of over 2,000 km.

Geely Galaxy is a NEV brand under the Geely Group that was launched last year. The current model line consists of four models: the L7 and E5 crossovers, and the L6 and E8 sedans. In the first nine months of 2024, Geely Galaxy sold 153,592 cars.

Geely Galaxy Starship 7 details
Geely Galaxy Starship 7 applied for a sales license in September. It is a medium-sized crossover with an overall length of 4740/1905/1685mm and a wheelbase of 2755mm. It is built on Geely Auto’s recent GEA (Global Intelligent Electric Architecture) platform. This architecture is also called “Geely AI Digi Chassis”. Previously, the Geely Galaxy E5 electric SUV adopted this chassis.
In terms of exterior styling, the Galaxy Starship 7 follows Galaxy’s latest design language. It features low-profile running lights combined with LED strips. The front bumper adopts an X-shaped pattern that integrates the high beam and trapezoidal air intake. Galaxy Starship 7 uses conventional door handles and a large sunroof. From the back, it features a thin taillight unit and hidden exhaust pipes.
The interior of Geely Galaxy Starship 7 has a two-spoke steering wheel with a gear shifter at the back. The center console incorporates a large hanging screen. The center tunnel has two wireless phone charging pads and a pair of cupholders. It is also equipped with a head-up display and a thin LCD instrument panel.

Geely Galaxy Starship 7 is powered by NordThor 2.0 plug-in hybrid powertrain. It consists of a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with 82 kW (110 hp) and two electric motors. Consumption is 2.62 L/100km and maximum combined range is 2,390 km.
Geely Galaxy Starship 7 has two battery options. 19.09 kWh for 101 km electric range and 29.94 kWh for 150 km electric range. The fuel consumption of Geely Galaxy Starship 7 with a depleted battery is 4.9 liters per 100 km.
