Samsung has announced that it is introducing a new feature called “Tap Transfer” to the Samsung Wallet app. This will allow Galaxy smartphone users to send and receive money by tapping the back of their phone. This new feature works via NFC and will be enabled after updating the Samsung Wallet app.
If a Galaxy smartphone user wants to send money to another person via Samsung Wallet, they can add their bank account credentials to the app, enter the amount they need to send, and point the back of their phone to the other person’s You need to hold it against the back of your phone. Once the process begins, Samsung Wallet will request your biometrics (fingerprint).
This feature is currently supported by Woori Bank, and Samsung has confirmed that it will soon provide support to other banks.
To improve the privacy of both users involved in the transfer process, both users’ phone numbers are encrypted and only the last four digits of the recipient’s phone number are visible to the sender.

Users can set up the Samsung Wallet app to allow them to receive money via Samsung Wallet’s tap transfer feature even when their phone’s screen is locked.
