Sure, Samsung’s Buds 3 Pro are a little more angular, lit up, and come in a dark gray color (although there’s a white option as well), but the stem design, in-ear tips, and overall look are amazing It’s very similar to AirPod Pro.

Price, availability and specs
Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will cost $250, making the earbuds the same price as the $250 Airpods Pro 2. Samsung’s website states that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will be available in silver and white colors and will be available on October 23rd.
Galaxy Buds 3 Pro lasts up to 6 hours with active noise cancellation (ANC) turned off and 5 hours with it turned on. Meanwhile, the cool-looking transparent case offers 30 hours of charging time. The earphones feature Bluetooth 5.4 and are IP57 water and dust resistant, providing limited protection against dust and submersion between 15 cm (5.9 inches) and 100 cm (1 m). The wireless earbuds have three built-in microphones, each weighing 0.2 ounces.
Finally, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro combines dual 10mm dynamic drivers and tweeters to enhance high frequencies.
It’s important to note that Samsung delayed the release of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro after some early users experienced issues with the ear tips breaking when removing the wireless earbuds. I didn’t run into this issue, but I’m not sure what Samsung has changed to fix this problem.

Google’s Pixel Buds Pro 2 are sleek and comfortable, but the sound is surprisingly lackluster
Despite their great design, there are better wireless earbud options than Google’s Pixel Buds Pro 2.
What we like about Galaxy Buds 3 Pro
They look similar to AirPods Pro (2nd generation) and sound just as good.
I understand. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro really look like the AirPods Pro, especially in white. It’s definitely weird, but I don’t really care. First, thanks to a more angular stem (which Samsung amusingly calls a “blade”) and a cool-looking transparent case that reminds me of the Nothing earbuds (which are roughly the same shape as AirPods), AirPods Pro has a unique twist on its design. However, for Pro 2nd generation). The earbuds have a light on the blade that lets you know if they’re in pairing mode and flashes when you’re using the search feature. You can also pinch the stem to turn the light on and off, like children’s light-up shoes. It’s silly, but it’s also cool, and it’s exactly the kind of fun sillyness I appreciate when it comes to technology.
One of the most important factors to me when it comes to wireless earbuds is how comfortable they feel in my ears. I’m not a big fan of in-ear wireless earbuds and feel only the AirPods 2nd generation hold up. Thankfully, I feel the same way about the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. They get uncomfortable after a few hours, but with moderate bursts of use they feel as comfortable as Apple’s AirPods Pro. You can also change the ear tips to find your perfect fit. This is essential for good active noise cancellation.
When it comes to noise canceling, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are excellent. Even in noisy situations, the outside world disappears and there is never an unpleasant hiss. The quality is on par with my experience with other high-end wireless earbuds that feature in-ear designs, and far exceeds the Pixel Buds Pro 3. You can also hear the emergency services sirens and they work very well.
I’d go so far as to say that these may have the best sound quality of all the in-ear wireless earphones I’ve used this year.
There are no negative points when it comes to the audio quality of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. These wireless earbuds offer a wide soundscape with deep bass and satisfying treble, bass, and mids thanks to their 10mm dynamic drivers. In fact, I’d go as far as to say that these might be the best-sounding in-ear wireless earbuds I’ve used this year. The quality of the microphone is OK, but not outstanding. I think they’re better than most wireless earbuds because the stem design puts the mic closer to your mouth than other earbuds, but they’re not outstandingly better than the competition.

7 Pixel 9 tips and tricks you can’t miss if you’re new to Android
Google’s Pixel smartphones are packed with features, but Google doesn’t explain them all. Here are some highlights you should try.
If you’ve used AirPods before, you’ll be familiar with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro’s on-bud swipe controls to adjust volume and stop/start media. It’s responsive, easy to use, and most importantly, intuitive. Bixby, Samsung’s ill-fated voice-activated assistant, can also be used to perform tasks like stopping music, increasing volume, and changing songs, similar to Siri on AirPods. It works fine, but I don’t use this feature very often.
And finally, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro thankfully maintain a clear connection no matter what device you connect it to, be it a MacBook Pro. iPad Pro, galaxy z flip 6 or pixel 9. This should be true for all wireless earphones at this price, but it’s Unfortunately, this is not always the case.
Samsung sells a standard $180 version of the Galaxy Buds 3 that features short battery life and no in-ear tips (offering similar features to AirPods 4). Similar to Apple’s AirPods 4, these earbuds also feature noise canceling. As a side note, I hate that these earbuds are called Galaxy Buds 3 Pro instead of Galaxy Buds Pro 3, with the number moved behind the name like almost every other pair.

From WhatsApp and Microsoft 365 to Fiton and Steam Link, these are the must-have apps for your new Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
What I didn’t like about the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro
There are not many drawbacks to this earphone
As you may have noticed, I really like Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, but they’re not without some minor issues. For example, as far as I know, ear detection is only compatible with Android devices (I couldn’t get it to work on my MacBook Pro or iPhone 16 Pro). This is a very common issue I’ve encountered with almost all wireless earbuds, but it’s worth mentioning.
It’s a shame that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro doesn’t offer some sort of automatic switching feature.
In addition to this, automatic pairing is limited to switching between Galaxy devices, similar to Apple’s AirPods series. For example, I couldn’t automatically switch from my Galaxy S24 Ultra to my Pixel 9 and had to pair it. Naturally, I also had to manually switch between my MacBook Pro and iPhone. Again, this is common when it comes to wireless earbuds, but it’s a shame that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro don’t offer some sort of auto-switching feature with other Android devices that aren’t part of Samsung’s Galaxy line. .

Should you buy Galaxy Buds 3 Pro?
A great Android alternative to Apple’s AirPods Pro
As far as wireless earbuds go, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are a solid choice. They look cool, sound great, and most importantly, are very comfortable for in-ear wireless earbuds, even though they look like AirPods Pro 2 clones. If you’re an Android user looking for great-sounding wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are one of the best.
