Samsung’s Galaxy AI is available in multiple languages across the globe, but the company knows it can support many more. Samsung promises that Galaxy AI will support a total of 20 languages and dialects by the end of 2024.
Galaxy AI includes several new features that debuted with the launch of the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year. This series showcases exactly what Samsung’s new AI models can accomplish, spread across productivity and creative apps. Features such as live translation for multilingual calls were released in this suite.
Samsung announced that Galaxy AI now supports four new languages, bringing the total to 20 languages. The expansion will add Turkish, Swedish, Dutch, and Romanian languages and is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. The company plans further expansion. Current supported languages include Traditional Chinese and European Portuguese dialects.
As Galaxy AI continues to expand and become a mainstay of the capabilities offered by Galaxy devices, we expect this support to expand to more languages and dialects.
Once these additional languages are available, users will be able to download them as a pack from the Settings app on compatible Galaxy devices. Samsung also notes that support will start rolling out later this month.
