Jim FarleyCEO of forda very interesting person. he was once I mortgaged my house to buy a vintage car And he said American consumers need to do that. Buy more cars that Ford won’t sell.. You can’t quite predict what he’ll do next. For example, you might import a Chinese-made Xiaomi SU7, use it as your daily driver, and then go on a podcast and talk about how much you love it.

Mustang Mach-E Rally revealed

Farley did just that earlier this week on YouTube channel Everything Electric Show’s podcast “Fully Charged.” He praised the SU7, calling its competitors “fantastic” and saying:[didn’t] I want to give up on that. ”

That’s great…this is an industry giant and a far more powerful consumer brand than a car company. I don’t like to talk much about competition, but I’m on Xiaomi. I flew from Shanghai to Chicago. I’ve been driving it for 6 months now and don’t want to let it go.

U.S. automakers and lawmakers are both concerned that Chinese EVs could undermine U.S. products and hurt sales. Farley appears to have found a real reason for his concerns. The Chinese car he drives is really good.

It remains to be seen how Chinese automakers stand in the American market, but the cars themselves appear to be a real challenge to the Big Three. If Chinese EVs start appearing in our country, domestic automakers may have to start making cheaper and better cars to compete. That’s terrible, right?
