Samsung is expanding October 2024 security updates for the Galaxy S23 series in Europe and India. This update fixes several issues and improves the overall performance of your device.
Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra users can check for updates via One UI build S911BXXS6CXI4, S916BXXS6CXI4and S918BXXS6CXI4 each.

Samsung has started releasing October 2024 security updates for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones. The update is rolling out in the US, and the company plans to make it available in more countries soon.
Samsung Galaxy S23 series users can get the October 2024 security update in the US through the One UI builds below.
- Galaxy S23 – S911USQS4CXI4
- Galaxy S23 Plus – S916USQS4CXI4
- Galaxy S23 Ultra – S918USQS4CXI4
The new update fixes several issues that users encountered in the previous version, making your Galaxy S23 more stable and secure. The installation package size for this update is approximately 400MB.
The October 2024 Security Update brings critical fixes from both Google and Samsung to address vulnerabilities in the Android operating system and Samsung’s software. Google fixed 2 critical issues and 28 high-level issues, 1 of which is already resolved and 2 of which do not affect Galaxy devices.
Meanwhile, Samsung will resolve 12 specific vulnerabilities related to system services and Knox security. Additionally, Samsung Semiconductor has fixed one high-level issue and enhanced performance.
This update is currently available for locked models, but the company plans to extend it to unlocked models soon. It will be rolled out in stages, so it may take hours or days for it to apply to all models.
