October 9, 2024 – Austin, Texas – The Electric Reliability Council of Texas, Inc. (ERCOT) today announced the release of the newly enhanced ERCOT mobile app. The mobile app has been redesigned to give users easy access to transparent, reliable, real-time information about the health and operations of the ERCOT grid.
“We are committed to providing reliable information about real-time grid status and operations that is easily accessible to all stakeholders, including the public,” said ERCOT Vice President of Public Affairs Gilbert Hughes. “We are doing so.” “This redesign highlights that commitment. We’ve improved the app experience by integrating feedback from various stakeholder groups.”
Based on extensive market participant (organizations participating in the ERCOT Wholesale Market) and public feedback, new mobile app enhancements include improved navigation, addition and expansion of an interactive ERCOT dashboard, and a full week of ERCOT meetings. Includes destination calendar and home customization features. Added educational videos to explain screens, dark mode, and ERCOT dashboard features.
An informative welcome screen now helps new users navigate the features of your mobile app.
To take advantage of these new features, current ERCOT mobile app users must update the app to the latest version when prompted by their device.
